Mindtickle is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer II to join our esteemed Technical Solutions team. As a customer-facing group within the customer success division, the Technical Solutions team excels in eliciting requirements, proposing innovative solutions, managing technical implementations, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external.

- Understand and analyze the business needs of customers, as well as their technical requirements.
- Develop and implement custom integrations, solutions, and reporting features throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Create data visualization dashboards tailored to specific customer requirements, based on the analysis of large datasets.
- Perform small enhancements to the product UI to address customers' business needs.
- Coordinate the deployment of user management integration with Mindtickle, collaborating closely with customers' technical teams.
- Implement and maintain integration workflows using ETL tools.
- Perform quality assurance and troubleshoot issues related to custom dashboards and integrations in collaboration with the product and development teams.
- Develop automation for custom integrations and implement effective alerting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with the product team to represent customer trends for consideration in the product roadmap.
- Identify and define opportunities for process improvement.
We’d love to hear from you, if you:
- 4–6 years of experience in enterprise software implementation or development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time.
- Strong ownership and accountability across the full solution lifecycle, including scoping, development, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working closely with internal and customer-facing teams.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks/libraries like Flask, FastAPI, Pandas, PySpark, and NumPy.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable workflows and pipelines using Apache Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools.
- Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Strong debugging skills and experience working with Unix/Linux systems, system calls, and log analysis.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, with understanding of authentication standards like OAuth, SAML, JWT, and secure file exchange via SFTP.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM, with experience deploying and managing solutions in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Grafana, Loki, and AWS CloudWatch for system observability.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts such as classification, summarization, and recommendations, including practical integration of LLMs and GenAI workflows.
- Experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exposure to React or Golang is a plus.
- Proven ability to convert AI/ML models into APIs or embed into real-time decision workflows.
- Strong background in building data pipelines and performing ETL/ELT using Python or ETL platforms like Workato, Jitterbit, Informatica, or Dell Boomi.
- Experience with data lakes and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, JasperSoft, or Power BI, with the ability to create business-friendly dashboards.
- Comfortable working with analytics workflows involving A/B testing, funnel analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Experience integrating with external platforms or CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and working on large-scale SaaS product ecosystems.
- Strong task management, prioritization, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with usage analytics and reporting layer integration in products.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
