JOB DESCRIPTION:
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer with 2 to 4 yrs of experience, to join our team focused on developing cutting-edge medical device software. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of medical devices and their associated peripherals and software and work closely with mentors and technical leaders to deliver quality solution for class 3 medical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of medical devices and programmer, to contribute meaningfully to product development.
- Implement high-quality, end-to-end features across multiple product releases using C++ and Core Java.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and ensure code is testable, portable, and maintainable.
- Investigate, reproduce, debug, and fix complex system-level issues using software debuggers and analyzers.
- Participate in technical discussions and development forums to propose and implement innovative software solutions.
- Take ownership of code quality and DevOps practices for your deliverables.
- Work in an agile development environment to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
- Foster a positive, solution-focused, and creative team culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming languages such as C++ (must have) and Core Java (nice to have).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience on Object Oriented Programming concepts and their applications.
- Strong analytical and logic building skills
- Hands-on experience with Linux development and end-user environments.
- Solid understanding of unit testing and test-driven development.
- Experience with debugging tools and system-level problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on Qt framework and multithreading
- Experience in the medical device domain or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
