Job Description

We are looking for a Software Dev Engr Senior who will:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE Sr) specializing in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions. You will leverage your expertise in software engineering and ESB platforms to connect critical business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient operations within CSG Systems.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex integration solutions using ESB platforms, adhering to established software architectures and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing systems, and define technical specifications for integration projects.
• Apply Agile Principles throughout the software development lifecycle, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct thorough Software Testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of ESB solutions.
•  Perform Systems Analysis to identify bottlenecks, optimize existing integrations, and troubleshoot complex issues, utilizing effective Debugging techniques.
•  Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment and promoting best practices in software development.
•  Engage in Stakeholder Management, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
•  Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, tools, and methodologies within the ESB domain.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Software Development, with a significant focus on Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
•  Proven experience with Agile Principles and methodologies.
•  Strong proficiency in Software Design and Software Architectures, particularly in the context of integration solutions.
•  Demonstrated expertise in Debugging complex software systems and identifying root causes of issues.
•  Experience with various Software Testing methodologies and tools.
•  Solid understanding of Systems Analysis principles and techniques.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage Stakeholder Management.
•  Previous experience in Mentoring Youth or junior team members is a plus.
