We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect who is responsible for defining and guiding the overall technical structure and development of the application. Leverage your strong programming skills to write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code for data processing tasks and pipeline orchestration.
 

Responsibilities
  • Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, deploying applications, and managing microservices. Scale resources, monitor cluster health, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain data solutions on the cloud platform. Design services for high availability, security, and scalability while optimizing costs.
  • Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data applications. Collaborate with the DevOps team to establish efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize code and configurations to achieve optimal resource utilization and job execution times.

  • Work with Group Security architects and the Nokia GS Cyber Defence Centre to develop acceptable solutions for identified security findings and ensure the application's security posture.
    Collaborate with engineering teams to implement the architecture and design across domain controller components.

  • Mentor and coach distributed engineering teams to ensure efficient design, high performance, and high-quality output.
  • Lead internal process improvements and software engineering innovations to achieve best-in-class practices.
Qualifications


You have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in architecting software, IT, or telecom solutions.

  • Experience in Java, JBoss, Wildfly 30, Spring Boot.

  • Proven experience in defining architectures and delivering those solutions to the market.

  • Experience working effectively in global organizations, with strong communication, motivational, and technical leadership skills.

  • Prior design experience in network management products.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Expertise in software engineering practices: DevOps, Agile, CI, test automation, microservices, and XaaS models.

  • Skilled in Java/J2EE, Linux, DBMS, web technologies, cloud/virtualization, Kubernetes, containers, SDN, and data analytics.

  • Able to quickly prototype and validate design approaches.

  • Exposure to Copilot and other AI tools for faster development.
