The Software ABAP Developer I is responsible for managing all aspects of the product development and support. Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop the State-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications; Ensure High quality standards of the product.

Responsibilities

• Provides programming of low to moderate complexity for web-based or desktop GUIs, statistical reports, database management programs, including data conditioning and decision-support systems, desktop database publishing and other database marketing applications.
• Develops and executes unit tests.
• Develops end-to-end solutions of low to moderate complexity.
• Performs necessary analysis, including development/elaboration of functional specifications, with direction.
• Provides time estimations on proposed application development or enhancement work with review.
• Develops complex applications from pre-defined specifications and requirements.
• Creates/contributes to technical design documentation for assigned development tasks.
• Creates specifications and defines requirements for small to medium applications and for all application enhancements with assistance.
• Develops supporting application and process documentation for client and internal applications under direction.
• Provides training on application where necessary.
• Assists in automating the deployment of applications in a production environment.
• Understands and operates under departmental systems, programming, testing and documentation standards.
  Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
