Summary:

The Social Media Community and Content Specialist will support our Global Brand & Enterprise Marketing team by focusing on cultivating, engaging, and actively managing a positive social media community. Collaborating with the Social Media team, you will use social media platforms and trending content to enhance brand visibility and achieve marketing goals.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of proven professional experience, including community management and familiarity with reporting/analytics. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you'll partner with Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, PR, Corporate Communications, and local marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Social Media Strategist in writing, editing, and managing the organic social media editorial calendar.

  • Designs visually appealing and on-brand social media images and graphics.

  • Manages and publishes social media content across our owned channels and employee advocacy platform (Sprinklr).

  • Monitors owned channels and public brand mentions across social media, identifying opportunities and reputational risks. Recommends responses and escalates issues (e.g., complaints requiring stakeholder input) as needed. 

  • Identifies opportunities to engage with industry influencers, amplifying Iron Mountain’s social media presence via relationship building.

  • Monitors emerging trends and stays current on social media best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in social media content planning and management in a corporate or agency environment. B2B knowledge is a plus. 

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong collaboration and project management abilities. 

  • A deep understanding of social media channels and community management experience are highly preferred. 

  • Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure. 

  • Requires flexibility to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed.

  • Sprinklr experience is a plus.
