Job Title: ServiceNow Staff Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Business & Team: CTO
Impact & contribution: Will focus majorly on ServiceNow development like customisation and automation which will help business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality, accuracy, and usability of CBA CMDB.
- Provide design solution and review code
- Help define and maintain configuration management policies, procedures, processes and standards.
- Participates in routine governance activities as it pertains to CSDM and data within the ServiceNow platform.
- Works with Business to understand product demand and help manage CMDB and platform data requirements, ensuring alignment with CSDM and McDonalds standards.
- Define data flow architecture for configuration management and other ServiceNow platform data.
- Helps maintain the CMDB maturity roadmap
- Work with other architects to design data engineering solutions.
- Facilitate engineering discussions
- Integrate ServiceNow with other applications via APIs.
- Write and maintain efficient, reusable code in JavaScript and Java.
- Design user-friendly interfaces using HTML and CSS.
- Participate in Agile development processes and team meetings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Essential Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow programming languages (JavaScript, Java) preferred.
- Understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs is important.
- Strong knowledge on in ITIL principles and the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Comfortable presenting complex, technical topics in an actionable manner to senior leadership.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
