Strategic accounts excellence is a niche team in the Sales and Distribution business unit of Salesforce India that will provide white glove treatment for a select set of strategic customers for the India region. This team will provide the right level of governance overseeing transformational programs for our customers, ensuring the program is on track with active participation across internal teams in Salesforce, program participants from customers, external stakeholders from our partners both consulting and technical.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge marketing solutions. This role will focus on Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization, Data Cloud, and Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architecting robust, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and enhance customer experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architectural Leadership:

Design and develop end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions that incorporate Engagement, Personalization, Data Cloud, and Intelligence components.

Define technical architecture and integration strategies that align with business objectives and best practices.
- Solution Development & Implementation:

Lead technical teams in the configuration, customization, and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud components.

Oversee the development of integrations with internal and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Technical Strategy & Innovation:
-
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.

Provide thought leadership in the areas of marketing automation, data analytics, and personalized customer engagement.
- Project & Stakeholder Management:
-
Collaborate with business leaders, marketing teams, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Best Practices:

Establish and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
10+ years in IT with at least 5+ years focused on Salesforce implementations, specifically within the Marketing Cloud environment.

Deep experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization, Data Cloud, and Intelligence solutions.

Proficient in cloud architecture, API integrations, data management, and automation frameworks.

Experience with developing and maintaining complex integrations and data pipelines.

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, or Salesforce Technical Architect are highly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

This role may require occasional travel and flexible working arrangements.
