As a Sr Technical Program Manager, you will drive end-to-end program delivery, Agile transformation, and cross-functional alignment across multiple teams and workstreams. This role requires strong execution leadership, deep SAFe expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders while ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale, complex product development initiatives.
Act as Lead Technical Program Manager / Release Train Engineer (RTE), driving execution across multiple Agile teams and workstreams.
Facilitate and govern SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Inspect & Adapt, retrospectives), ensuring alignment and delivery predictability.
Implement and strengthen Scaled Agile (SAFe) and Agile best practices, driving consistency across teams.
Drive program-level planning, execution, and delivery across scope, schedule, quality, and cost.
Establish and track program metrics and KPIs (e.g., velocity, predictability, defect trends) to drive continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and mentorship to Scrum Masters and Agile teams, reinforcing Agile, Lean, and XP principles.
Ensure effective cross-team coordination, managing dependencies, risks, and impediments across distributed teams.
Maintain and communicate a clear view of program goals, delivery progress, and risks to leadership stakeholders.
Drive initiatives to improve quality, automation, and defect management practices across the program.
Foster a high-trust, collaborative team environment focused on transparency, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Support value stream planning, budgeting, and capacity management within a SAFe framework.
Partner with business, product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Identify and escalate program-level risks and issues, driving timely resolution.
Recommend process improvements, policy enhancements, and strategic initiatives to improve delivery efficiency.

Strong experience as a Technical Program Manager / Release Train Engineer in a SAFe Agile environment.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional programs involving multiple Agile teams.
Deep understanding of SAFe principles, Agile methodologies, and Lean practices (certifications preferred).
Hands-on experience performing Scrum Master and Scrum of Scrums roles across complex programs.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, coach, and mentor teams without direct authority.
Expertise in program metrics, reporting, and delivery governance.
Strong understanding of project/program management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk).
Experience working with distributed teams, multiple stakeholders, and vendor partners.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including leadership reporting.
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement, process maturity, and organisational alignment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
