As a Software Tester in the backend team, you will ensure robust and user-friendly services that create real value for professional robotic lawnmower customers.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Tester, you are responsible for backend functions and ensuring they deliver high quality for both the system and the customer. In the agile squad, sprints are planned, new functions are tested, and problems are analyzed together with developers, other testers, and system engineers.
The role involves:
Designing and implementing tests for new functions and changes.
API and integration testing.
Troubleshooting and documenting results.
Working with a test automation framework for automatic tests used for regression testing of the entire backend solution.
Close cooperation with developers, architects, and other teams, as backend services integrate with multiple Husqvarna cloud services.
Clearly communicating test results and bugs to contribute to the improvement of test strategies and processes.
The role provides insight into the entire service architecture and allows participation in the development of solutions used by professional customers, ensuring robust, high-quality solutions that create real customer benefit.
About You
As a Software Tester, you have:
Experience with backend testing, API testing, and test automation.
Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and cloud services, preferably AWS.
Education in software testing at a university or vocational college level, or ISTQB certification, is a merit.
Experience with noSQL databases, containerization, IoT solutions, data visualization, and testing tools like Cucumber or Robot Framework is a plus.
Requires analytical and in-depth thinking, a focus on quality, and the ability to document test results clearly.
Good ability to alternate between detailed focus and a holistic understanding of the entire back-end solution.
Good collaboration skills, the ability to communicate technical conclusions, and drive improvement initiatives are central.
You are strongly motivated by quality, customer benefit, and actively contributing to the team's common goals and development.
