The Role
We’ve reached meaningful scale and are rebuilding key parts of the platform to support the next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with engineers, product, design, and business teams to deliver foundational capabilities that unlock entire categories of product development.
The way software is tested has fundamentally changed. Static test cases and manual QA don’t scale in AI-assisted development environments.
This role focuses on building AI-accelerated testing systems that generate, execute, and validate tests at speed.
You’ll work across backend and platform systems to ensure quality through:
AI assisted test generation
fast and reliable execution
pragmatic validation approaches
This is not a traditional QA role. You are building systems that ensure quality by design, not inspection.
What You’ll Do
Build and operate systems that make testing scalable, fast, and largely automated across backend, web, and mobile.
Build AI-assisted test generation systems from APIs to user flows (web + app)
Design and maintain fast, parallel test execution pipelines integrated into CI/CD
Implement smart validation approaches beyond strict assertions where needed
Build and maintain end-to-end test coverage across critical user journeys
Generate high-quality synthetic test data and scenarios, including multi-product flows
Ensure tests are high-signal, low-flake, and easy for developers to trust
Improve coverage across frontend, backend, and app layers without increasing manual effort
Focus areas include:
Web and mobile app user flows (browse, cart, checkout, payments)
API and backend validation supporting these flows
Multi-entity scenarios (bundles, rewards, pricing)
Test execution performance and reliability
Required Skills and Experience
3–5 years of experience in software quality engineering, SDET, or test infrastructure roles Strong programming skills with experience building automated testing systems, not just writing test cases
Hands-on experience with using AI-assisted workflows for test generation or automation, including:
Frontend and app testing (web and/or mobile)
End-to-end and integration testing across real user journeys
API and service-level validation
Building or working with test frameworks and execution pipelines
Generating test cases, edge cases, and flows using LLMs/tools in Python
Reviewing, refining, and productionizing AI-generated tests
Ensuring outputs are stable, repeatable, and high-signal
Strong understanding of:
Testing distributed systems and multi-layer architectures
Mocking, stubbing, and service isolation
Test data setup and management
Debugging failures across frontend, backend, and app layers
Observability and debugging tools
Performance or load testing basics
Example Projects You’ll Work On
Build an AI-assisted system to generate test coverage for Frontend applications, Mobile App, APIs and backend services
Design a fast, parallel test execution pipeline that scales with product complexity
Create validation layers for cart and checkout flows across multiple product types
Generate synthetic datasets to test edge cases in pricing, rewards, and promotions
Improve reliability and reduce flakiness across existing automated test suites
