Skills and Competencies
Programming and Scripting:
- Proficiency in languages such as Node.js, React.js
Security:
- Knowledge of security best practices, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Experience with security tools like OWASP ZAP, Snyk etc..
DevOps Practices:
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like CircleCI
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Serverless etc.
Cloud Platforms:
- Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS using ECS, EKS or Serverless
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Proficiency in using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog etc.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Strong collaboration skills to work with development, operations, and security teams.
- Good communication skills for effective reporting and documentation.
