Design and execute automated tests for web and backend systems, improve testing frameworks, and collaborate with teams to ensure software quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications through robust test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects to closure.
- Continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and tools to increase efficiency.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
- Provide clear reporting of test results and quality metrics.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot, or similar).
- Good understanding of backend/API testing (Postman, REST-assured, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
