As a Senior Software Developer for Data Solutions at JCI, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This position requires a solid understanding of programming languages, software development methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
How you will do it:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Utilize programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python to build scalable software applications.
- Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through delivery and support.
- Ensure software solutions are robust, secure, and maintainable.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on software development best practices.
- Remain current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, particularly with data-centric applications.
