We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support R&D Software teams within the Sports Medicine Division. The role will act as a servant leader for multi-disciplinary software development and testing teams, leading complex Scrum ceremonies for one or more Agile teams. This position drives priority alignment with program-level milestones, partners closely with PMO, Marketing, Quality, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment, and coaches teams to foster an Agile mindset and continuous improvement. The role also ensures clear communication and visibility on delivery plans, execution strategies, risks, and timelines for stakeholders.
What will you be doing?- Establish and communicate software sprint KPIs and metrics to enable objective assessment of performance, execution risks and improvement opportunities.
- Align software sprint goals in collaboration with other SCRUM Masters and PMO leader.
- Plan and track sprint goals and definition-of-done including QMS required activities as required for definition-of-done.
- Resolves team impediments with cross-function Scrum team members and other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Supports Software Project Managers with timely communication/escalation of risks/issues, their impact, and mitigation/corrective actions.
- Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management is required. Master’s Degree is preferred
- Licenses/ Certifications: At least one current agile project management certification is required. Examples of Agile Certifications are: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Experience: Should have a min 3 – 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master within the total experience.
Competences:(Must have):
- Software sprint planning experience across multiple teams.
- Technical understanding of software development process.
- Project execution experience using SAFe, SCRUM or related agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of project management in a regulated industry is desired, experience with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 820 is preferred.
