Corporate Engineering owns the strategy, delivery and support of LSEG business platforms. These platforms cover the primary business capabilities for Marketing, Selling, Fulfilment, Billing and Collections and Service & Support, as well as central Finance, Procurement, People and Performance Reporting. We are focused on harmonising processes, maximising efficiencies, tough standardisation and improving information and data management, to support the business vision.
Role Summary:
As Senior Scrum Master, you will be a key enabler of agile delivery within People Engineering, ensuring that our HR technology squads operate effectively under product-led principles. You will coach teams, remove impediments and develop a culture of continuous improvement across platforms such as Workday, Workforce Adaptive, Workforce Integration Hub and VNDLY.
We are a product-led organisation, and all change will be delivered within these principles; prioritising value streams, iterative delivery and customer-centric outcomes. You will embed these ways of working into delivery governance, ensuring alignment with the People Engineering Target Operating Model.
You will also support recurring People/HR projects such as Annual Compensation Review (ACR) and act as a trusted partner to the Change Enablement Lead, driving strategic priorities and embedding best-in-class delivery practices.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Delivery Leadership:
- Own end-to-end delivery of People/HR technology deliveries, ensuring scope, timelines and quality standards are met within our product-led approach.
- Champion product-led delivery principles, agile mindset focusing on incremental value, prioritisation and continuous improvement.
- Embed agile and product-led methodologies aligned with People Engineering’s TOM
- Product-Led Ways of Working:
- Embed product-led principles into delivery, focusing on incremental value, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
- Support the transition from project-based to product-based delivery models.
- Organisation Building:
- Design and implement the Delivery Management structure within People Engineering.
- Recruit, mentor and lead delivery team members, encouraging a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Partnership:
- Act as a key advisor to the Change Enablement Lead, supporting workforce strategy, capital planning, book of work and commercial governance.
- Drive alignment between People/HR technology delivery and broader People Engineering objectives.
- Governance & Reporting:
- Establish robust delivery governance, risk management and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure open communication of progress, risks and value delivered to senior stakeholders.
- Organise and run periodic product control meetings and ceremonies, such as intake board; change board and portfolio governance board, daily scrums, stand-ups and retros.
- Vendor & Integration Management:
- Lead all aspects of and/or deliver projects across our 50+ system estate ranging from Workday, Workforce Adaptive, Workforce Integration Hub, VNDLY and more
- Accordingly, lead vendor relationships effectively.
- Work with Procurement in ensuring third-party commercials are accurately coordinated and governed from a renewal and contractual obligation perspective
- BAU Project Support:
- Lead and support recurring People projects such as Annual Compensation Review (ACR), ensuring seamless execution and system readiness.
- Partner with People/HR and People Engineering teams to deliver cyclical activities with precision and compliance.

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies:
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in People/HR technology or related enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of Workday, Workforce Adaptive, Workforce Integration Hub and VNDLY and related People systems
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and enable agile teams, while encouraging organisational change and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in product-led delivery frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in vendor management and complex system integrations.
- Familiarity with workforce planning and People/HR transformation programmes.
- Strong analytical and commercial skill to support workforce strategy and capital planning.
- Financial budgetary management experience.
Education/ Certifications:
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
- Training on Workday or any other related People/HR systems
- Proven training in software development lifecycle or methodologies
