The Senior Salesforce Revenue Cloud Developer will design and build features, lead technical discussions, and ensure integration and compliance with Revenue Cloud functionalities.
Job Description:
About the Role
We are hiring a hands‑on Senior Developer for Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
You will build features (pricing, quoting, subscriptions, billing), fix issues, and work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations.
You will lead conversations related to Revenue Cloud and be the main technical voice for Revenue Cloud/CPQ in meetings with our internal teams and with clients/partners.
Important: Salesforce is moving from old CPQ to Revenue Cloud. You must be comfortable learning and working on Revenue Cloud and mapping legacy CPQ setups to modern Revenue Cloud patterns.
What You Will Do
- Design and build Revenue Cloud features: product catalog, pricing rules, quoting, orders, subscriptions, invoicing, renewals/amendments, proration.
- Create and maintain Flows, Apex, LWC, validations, and error handling.
- Work on integrations (REST/Platform Events) with payment gateways, tax engines (e.g., Avalara), and ERP (e.g., SAP/Oracle).
- Own DevOps basics: Git, CI/CD (Copado/Gearset), sandbox strategy, test coverage, and clean deployments.
- Keep data clean: migrations, reconciliation, invoice accuracy, usage/consumption handling.
- Ensure security & compliance (FLS/sharing), logging, and auditability.
- Lead conversations on Revenue Cloud/CPQ: gather requirements, explain options in simple language, handle client questions, and write clear solution notes.
- Work with admins/developers to review code/config and share best practices.
Must‑Have Skills
- 6–9+ years Salesforce experience; 3–5+ years in quote‑to‑cash (CPQ/Revenue Cloud).
- Strong hands‑on with Revenue Cloud (or strong CPQ plus clear plan to move to Revenue Cloud).
- Solid Apex, Flow, LWC, SOQL; good debugging and performance tuning.
- Experience with subscriptions, usage‑based billing, proration, renewals/amendments, invoicing.
- API integrations with ERP/payments/tax; handle retries, idempotency, and error paths.
- CI/CD with Git + Copado/Gearset; unit tests with meaningful coverage.
- Communication skills (internal & external): can lead meetings, write simple documents, and explain trade‑offs to business users.
Good to Have
- Certifications: Revenue Cloud (or CPQ Specialist), Platform Developer I/II, Admin.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition / ASC‑606 with Finance teams.
- Experience with Doc Gen/e‑sign (Conga, DocuSign), B2B Commerce, Data Cloud, OmniStudio.
