What is the Senior Sales Manager - Institutional Sales responsible for?

  • The role will carry of KRA to handle Institutional Clients & Institutional Channel Partners and will be responsible for driving & achieving the assigned Institutional /Corporate sales targets.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior Sales Manager - Institutional Sales?

The role will be based at Mumbai location & will report to Cluster Head-Institutional Sales, India:

  • Responsible for driving & achieving the monthly corporate sales targets.

  • Market Mapping, Competition mapping in the geography assigned.

  • Cross sell new products and offerings, as per the launches from time to time.

  • Proactively identify sales prospects and do business development activities in the region.

  • Coordination with internal teams & various departments to accomplish the task assigned.

  • Make daily sales calls to develop business.

  • Monitor business growth regularly and maintain consistency in sourcing.

  • Identify and acquire new clients and strengthen relationships with tagged existing clients.

  • Efforts shall be to achieve assigned annual targets i.e. Gross, Net Sales, Asset growth, client activation / acquisition etc.

  • Monitoring of Sales Metrics and adhering to processes viz. MIS, CRM Platform - Talisma, Activities, Call Reports etc.

  • Work within the Compliance and Legal boundaries set by the regulatory bodies and internal framework.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Knowledge, Education, And Experience:

  • Post Graduate Academic Qualification in Management Field.

  • Approx. 6-12 years of sales, preferably in Asset Management Company (Institutional Sales) or BFSI – Corporate Sales.

  • High Knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets, especially fixed income.

Licenses And Certifications / Qualifications:

  • AMFI/NISM certification (Advisors’ Module) mandatory

  • Any Financial Advisory Linked Qualification – CFP, CFA

Skills And Abilities:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Perseverance & Patience

  • Flexibility & Adaptability

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, Go-getter

  • Managing the performance objectively.

  • Thinking on the feet and be self-driven in resolving problems in hand.

Physical Requirements:

  • Reasonable amount of physical fitness to undertake strenuous field & travel job.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel within the assigned region.

Revenue/ Non-Revenue Generating:

  • Responsible for sales generation, which will ultimately generate revenue for the organization.

Work Shift Timing - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST
