As a Senior Sales Manager at Arxada based in Mumbai, you will be a significant player in driving financial performance and market expansion through independent customer management, opportunity development, and strategic sales execution. Utilize strong analytical skills for accurate forecasting, pricing and profitability management, while leveraging CRM tools like SFDC for pipeline and performance tracking. Deliver high-level customer support, gather market intelligence, and identify new product applications to maintain a competitive advantage and support business planning.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Owns the commercial performance of the assigned market field, delivering agreed sales, profitability, and growth objectives in line with business strategy.

  • Develops and executes strategic account plans for major customers, ensuring alignment with their long-term needs and the company’s value proposition. Acts as the market expert, continuously developing intelligence on competitors, emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and technology developments that could impact business.

  • Contribute to strategic and tactical sales / marketing plans by providing insights from the field that support gross profit growth and market share expansion.

  • Leads business development initiatives by identifying and converting new opportunities within existing and adjacent market spaces; ensures systematic tracking and reporting in CRM (SFDC). Provides reliable demand forecasts and market insights that support production planning, S&OP, and business reviews.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and support demand planning by providing data-driven insights based on customer engagement and pipeline status.

  • Maximise sales profitability by managing pricing, costs, and commercial conditions; ensure positive cash flow through proactive management of payment terms and overdue accounts.

  • Continuously gather and analyse market intelligence to uncover competitor activities and new use cases for existing products, supporting sales strategy and product positioning.

  • Champions customer experience by ensuring high standards of responsiveness, technical support, and service excellence.

  • Support and collaborate with distribution partners to emphasize value-based selling and identify ways to increase profitability through differentiated product offerings, ensuring they communicate and capture the technical and commercial value of company products

  • Stay informed of market trends and developments to provide input that supports innovation and the development of profitable new products.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management R&D, and Operations to influence product pipeline, pricing, and supply priorities based on market intelligence. Drives margin improvement through disciplined pricing, cost control, and value selling while maintaining healthy working capital by managing payment terms and overdue.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercials

  • 8+ years sales experience in chemical applications

  • Strong sales/Business development skills

  • speak fluent English and Hindi

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and management skills
