Key Responsibilities (non-technical) –
- Knowledge and expertise to serve as the primary research advisor and client-facing expert.
- This role requires strong leadership in client engagements, the ability to scope and design complex studies and deep expertise in both governance and execution of research.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, guiding them through research design, methodology and insights generation to ensure impactful outcomes
- Proven track record of leading client engagements and delivering strategic research insights.
- Strong expertise in research governance, methodology selection and study design.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring teams and fostering a culture of excellence in research delivery.
Key Responsibilities – Technical:
- Lead client calls and discussions as the research expert, providing strategic advisory inputs.
- Scope out new studies in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Advise on governance of research including methodology rigor, ethical standards and data integrity.
- Shape research design by recommending appropriate approaches, sampling methods and analytical frameworks.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, thought leadership and consultative guidance.
- Translate complex research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively suggest innovative research solutions.
- Oversee survey design and research frameworks ensuring methodological soundness and relevance.
- Guide teams on advanced analytical techniques (correlational, experimental, log analysis, etc.).
- Ensure research outputs are trustworthy, data-backed and actionable for client decision-making.
- Champion storytelling in reporting, ensuring insights are communicated with clarity and impact.
- Mentor and coach junior researchers to elevate team capabilities and maintain high-quality standards.
- Drive innovation in research methods by staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Establish domain context relevance so that reports and insights resonate with client business challenges.
