What are we looking for?
At Checkmarx, we are a Research & Development team responsible for developing Plugins & Integrations that bring the capabilities of CheckmarxOne, our cloud-native AppSec platform to common developer workflows and pipelines (IDEs and CI/CD platforms).
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test with proven experience in manual as well automated testing.
How will you make an impact?
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with Product Management, architects, and developers
- Understanding the business and technical requirements of existing and new products & features.
- Writing test plans, running manual and automated tests
- Developing new automation tests
- Maintaining & managing existing automation projects
- Mentor QA team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
What is needed to succeed?
- MCA or B.E. in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- 6 to 8 years of SDET experience, including both manual and automated testing.
- At least 4 years of experience in one of automation testing frameworks: Cypress/Selenium/Playwright – must.
- At least 4 years of experience in one of programming languages for TA: JS/Golang/Java/Python/C# - must.
- Proven experience in API testing.
- Proven experience in manual testing.
- Experience working in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.) – advantage.
- Practical experience with configuration and maintenance of CI environments – advantage
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Analytic approach for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing).
