Job Description
As a Senior Python Developer with Azure Cloud expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications using Python and Azure services. You will work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and high-performance applications. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of key technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and microservices using Python.
• Integrate and work with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure App Services.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of applications hosted on Azure.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other team members to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to the architecture and design of cloud applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and cloud infrastructure.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Mentor junior developers, helping them grow in their careers and guiding them in solving technical challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Python, Azure, and cloud computing.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, etc.).
• Proficient in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience working with microservices and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud security best practices and performance optimization on Azure.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed, remote team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipelines.
