The Senior Project Manager leads implementation teams, manages multiple projects, ensures timely and budget-conscious delivery, and communicates with clients to meet expectations.
Role
The Professional Services Project Manager will represent MetaOption with authority to the customer, as the leader of the implementation team and owner of the project. Ensuring a customer referral when the project is complete, while adhering to the triple constraints of cost, scope, and time is fundamental to our continued success as an organization. The Project Manager must clearly understand the project objectives, along with the business requirements, and act as the primary interface with our customers to set the agenda, manage customer expectations, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, proactively resolve issues, negotiate appropriately, and communicate internally and externally, utilizing the MetaOption implementation methodology to lead these projects to success.
Major Responsibilities
· Responsible for project management and ownership of multiple, concurrent medium- to large-sized, complex solution engagements, adhering to and improving the MetaOption implementation methodology.
· Proactively and predictively manage the projects including developing task lists, scheduling resources, setting goals and priorities, ensuring deliverables are met, reporting project status, tracking and resolving issues, and customer acceptance.
· Implement change management process on engagements.
· Follow standard Professional Services operational process and guidelines.
· Act as primary interface with customer to manage customer expectations, develop risk mitigation strategies and resolve issues.
· Act as point of escalation to resolve large, complex, high-risk engagements.
· Ensure engagements are on-time and on-budget.
· Identify additional sales opportunities resulting from engagement work.
· Maintains on average of 50% utilization for billable projects
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, supply chain/or related discipline.
· 5 years of technical project management experience
· Leading multiple teams and multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
· PMI and or Scrum Alliance certification a plus
· SAP ERP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or Sage implementation experience is highly desirable but not a requirement
· 5 years of ERP software implementation experience desired but not required

Travel: This role requires some traveling within USA cities, states, and Canada to meet with clients and project requirements.
