Job Title: Sr. Platform Engineer
Location: Bangalore

We are looking to hire a Senior Platform Engineer to develop and deliver the vision for our Public Cloud Modernisation transformation within the Core Banking Product Crew in Retail Technology. This high availability, modernised platform powers many critical elements of the customer experience for our products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, build and run highly available and fully monitored systems
- Build systems that are designed to break gracefully without customer impact
- Resourcefully find solutions to problems that have not occurred yet, lead technical calls
- Read packet captures and install software and tools
- A fast learner and value sharing of knowledge
- Mentor other team members
Essential Skills
- Relevant experience of 12+ years is required
- Demonstrated experience in banking or related financial services
- Unix/Linux (Red hat Systems administrator level)
- DevTools (Ansible, Jenkins/Team city, Artifactory, Github)
- Monitoring tools (SPLUNK , Grafana)
- Applications (Java based and generic applications experience)
- Networking (Solid understand of TCPIP, load balancing, TLS/SSL, Security/Firewalls/Proxies)
- Infrastructure (Physical servers and Cloud compute) Integration troubleshooting (you can troubleshoot up and down streams as well as instream systems)
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or any similar stream
