Impact & contribution
As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for development and support of operational components of the Ansible Automation Platform. This includes supports its upgrade, patches, writing generic modules or roles required in the workflows, vulnerability investigation and remediation, troubleshooting, application lifecycle management, monitoring, tenant support, and providing guidance. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other teams to enhance their automation solutions and delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities

Support operational components of the Ansible Automation Platform, including vulnerability investigation and remediation.

Troubleshoot issues and manage the application lifecycle.

Monitor the platform and provide tenant support and guidance.

Collaborate with other teams to enhance their automation solutions and delivery.

Develop reusable solutions in line with the latest software trends.

Drive automation by understanding processes and implementing improvements.

Develop new initiatives to improve workflow through automation or tooling.
Essential Skills
-
8-12 years of relevant experience in automation, infrastructure management, and related fields.

Mandatory: Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Ansible.

Mandatory: Red Hat Enterprise Linux & general infrastructure knowledge.

Highly Desired: Working knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform (or AWX) and its operational components.

Highly Desired: Public Cloud experience (AWS).

Desired Scripting Languages: Bash, Python.

Good working knowledge of DevOps tools, Code Pipelines, GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory.

Familiarity with other toolsets such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alert manager is beneficial but not mandatory.
Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
