Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk profile with a background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate will possess professional qualifications such as CA, CWA, or an MBA, coupled with 2 to 4 years of experience in operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Risk Framework Development:
- Design and implement comprehensive operational risk frameworks including policies and governance structures.
- Develop and maintain Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) frameworks.
- Risk and Control Analysis:
- Conduct thorough risk identification from processes and evaluate their respective controls.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of existing controls, focusing on inherent risks, control assessments, and residual risk.
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) Management:
- Identify and establish KRIs, and design appropriate thresholds to manage operational risks effectively.
- Monitor, report, and analyze KRIs to ensure alignment with the organization's risk appetite.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements applicable to banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring organizational adherence to governance standards.
- Operational Loss Incident Management:
- Develop and enhance operational loss incident management frameworks.
- Analyze operational risk incidents and monitor external incidents for potential impact on the organization.
Qualifications:
- CA, CWA, or MBA with 2 to 4 years of experience in operational risk management in the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth understanding of operational risk management principles, including risk identification, control assessment, and residual risk analysis.
- Strong experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks and KRIs.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to banking and financial services.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
