Job Description:
  • Role Overview
    Join the Cloud Platform Engineering team responsible for designing, building, automating, securing, and operating enterprise cloud, corporate, server, and data center infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, infrastructure automation, network security, observability, and production operations across AWS, GCP, OCI, corporate offices, remote sites, and data centers.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Cloud Network Engineering
    • Design, manage, and optimize VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateways, VPC Peering, Private Connectivity, Load Balancers, DNS, and cloud security controls.
    • Establish standardized cloud networking patterns and reusable network architecture frameworks.
    • Support multi-account, multi-region, and multi-cloud deployments across AWS, GCP, and OCI.
    • Design highly available, resilient, scalable, and secure network architectures.
    • Support cloud landing zones and cloud foundation initiatives.
    Enterprise & Corporate Networking
    • Design, implement, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
    • Manage and troubleshoot VLANs, Routing, Switching, Wireless Networks, VPNs, Firewalls, Proxies, and Network Access Controls.
    • Establish secure connectivity between corporate offices, remote locations, data centers, and cloud environments.
    • Monitor network availability, utilization, capacity, and performance trends.
    • Drive lifecycle management, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projects.
    Server Infrastructure Management
    • Design and manage connectivity supporting Linux, Windows, physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted servers.
    • Troubleshoot DNS, routing, firewall, certificate, server communication, storage, and application connectivity issues.
    • Support provisioning, decommissioning, migration, and modernization efforts.
    • Ensure secure segmentation between applications, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
    Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Connectivity
    • Manage AWS Direct Connect, AWS Site-to-Site VPN, AWS Transit Gateway, GCP Cloud Interconnect, GCP Cloud VPN, OCI FastConnect, and OCI VPN.
    • Design and manage secure connectivity across on-premises, cloud, remote, and data center environments.
    • Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity issues across hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems.
    • Design resilient architectures eliminating single points of failure.
    Network Architecture & Design
    • Develop architecture diagrams, design documentation, reference architectures, and operational standards.
    • Design scalable IP address management, subnetting, routing, and DNS strategies.
    • Establish standards for traffic flow, network segmentation, connectivity, and security.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements.
    Network Security
    • Design and manage Security Groups, Network ACLs, Cloud Firewalls, WAFs, Firewall Policies, Network Segmentation, and Private Endpoints.
    • Support TLS/SSL, Certificates, Encryption, Secure Communication, and Zero Trust initiatives.
    • Monitor and investigate suspicious network activities and security events.
    • Partner with Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen compliance posture.
    Infrastructure as Code & Automation
    • Develop and maintain network infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
    • Build reusable Terraform modules and standardized deployment frameworks.
    • Automate provisioning, configuration validation, compliance checks, testing, and operational processes.
    • Develop automation using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
    • Support CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployment and change management.
    Network Monitoring & Observability
    • Monitor latency, throughput, packet loss, DNS performance, load balancer health, VPN health, connectivity, and utilization.
    • Leverage Datadog, CloudWatch, Flow Logs, telemetry, and observability platforms.
    • Create operational dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring frameworks.
    • Analyze telemetry and logs to improve reliability and performance.
    Production Support & Incident Management
    • Provide L3 support for critical network, server, cloud, and connectivity incidents.
    • Troubleshoot routing failures, DNS outages, VPN issues, firewall problems, application connectivity issues, and cloud networking incidents.
    • Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
    • Participate in on-call support, disaster recovery exercises, and business continuity activities.
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
    • 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience including cloud networking.
    • Strong AWS networking expertise with exposure to GCP and OCI.
    • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, hybrid cloud, server, and data center infrastructure.
    • Strong Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell automation capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
    Strong Understanding Of
    • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT.
    • Firewalls, Proxies, Load Balancing, TLS/SSL, and Network Segmentation.
