Job Requirement:
- Minimum 6 years industry experience in a datacenter switching/routing/network security.
- Experience in troubleshooting network connectivity and security issues.
- Provide continuous monitoring microsegmentation environment and policy management.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and reduce risks.
- Ensure coverage of all assets (servers, VMs, endpoints, applications).
- Maintain documents for policies applied (allow/deny rules).
- Install and configure microsegmentation tools for any new host.
- Deploy and test policy enforcement agents/modules.
- Deploy and test policy enforcement agents/modules.
- Configure traffic visibility and logging.
- Create allow list policies based on traffic baselining.
- Enforce least-privilege access across applications and workloads.
- Policy simulation (test mode) and gradual enforcement rollout
- Real-time alerting for policy violations or anomalous behavior.
- Weekly/monthly reporting on policy effectiveness and risks.
- Regular review of policies for refinement.
- Respond to changes in the environment (e.g., new apps, infra changes).
- Remove obsolete rules and update based on traffic patterns.
- Investigation of segmentation-related security incidents. Good understanding of incident management activities;
- Forensic support and containment assistance.
- Policy adjustments to prevent recurrence.
- Generate reports for MIS reporting/compliance/audits.
- Document change logs and access records.
- Provide policy updates and regular tuning.
- Deliver monthly reports and quarterly reviews.
- Participate in design and policy review sessions.
- Remediation of vulnerabilities unrelated to segmentation.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Technical ability to understand the issues related to day to day operations
- Technical ability to provide basic fault finding and fault escalation;
- Good ability to follow and documented operational processes;
- Experience with ticket management and change request management systems;
