What You Will Do
- Define and execute a forward-looking strategy for clinical skills and knowledge development in surgical robotics and medical technology.
- Champion clinical excellence by ensuring translation of complex technologies into high-impact procedural competencies.
- Lead governance and standardization of clinical education programs to deliver a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
- Partner with commercial leadership to align training initiatives with strategic sales and marketing priorities.
- Design and implement structured, outcome-driven learning frameworks incorporating the 70-20-10 development model.
- Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and drive measurable business impact.
- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, scalability, and consistency across portfolios.
- Drive training readiness for new product and technology launches, enabling field teams with strong technical and clinical confidence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, leveraging strengths-based leadership and continuous capability assessments.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for sales education, ensuring optimal investment, cost efficiency, and alignment with P&L goals.
What You Need
- 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 7+ years in medical devices, healthcare, or commercial (sales/marketing) roles preferred.
- Prior experience in people management, with a track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or MBA (preferred)
- Strategic Proficiency: Proven experience creating high-level training pathways, defining complex learning objectives, and aligning curriculum to performance goals.
- Influence Without Authority: The ability to be persuasive in complex, multi-functional environments and navigate the strategic requirements of a diverse ecosystem.
- Operational Excellence: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI.
