Lead multiple EPC substation projects from award through commissioning and closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and contractual requirements. Manage engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, clients, subcontractors, vendors, stakeholders, financial controls, risks, and compliance. Resolve technical and commercial issues, oversee energization and performance testing, report project progress, improve processes, and mentor cross-functional project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple EPC Substation (AIS/GIS) projects from award to commissioning and
project closure.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Commercial, and
Site teams.
• Manage client relationships, contract execution, subcontractors, vendors, and key
stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow, invoices, collections, and profitability.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve technical, commercial, and site execution issues.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and HSQE requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with customers, consultants, Owner's Engineers, utilities,
government authorities, and key suppliers.
• Lead project reviews, progress reporting, and team development.
• Drive customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams, and cross-functional
team.
• Lead commissioning activities including startup, equipment testing, energization,
synchronisation, and performance testing.
Requirements
Skills:
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Expertise in AIS/GIS Substation EPC execution.
• Knowledge of project planning, contracts, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 15–20 years of experience in EPC Substation/Transmission/Power Projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale EPC projects.
