Responsibilities include international price analysis, RSP finalization, competitor and margin analysis, SAP price updates and configuration, tax mapping, transfer pricing, standard costing, audit resolution, planning inputs, field discrepancy management, industry liaison, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities- Price Trend Analysis and Dashboard Updates
- Update daily international price movements from key publications.
- Maintain refinery transfer price inputs and reflect expected domestic price changes in management dashboards.
- Retail Selling Price (RSP) Finalization
- Finalize daily domestic prices for petroleum products.
- Analyze competitor pricing and marketing inputs.
- Provide MIS and margin analysis to support pricing strategy decisions.
- Update RSPs based on RTKMs, taxation, and freight changes.
- Bulk Pricing and PSU Sales Support
- Finalize fortnightly and monthly prices for bulk products and PSU sales.
- Ensure pricing aligns with contracts, tenders, and discount policies.
- Update selling prices based on tax changes and support B2B proposals.
- SAP Price Updates and Circular Communication
- Upload prices in SAP and conduct accuracy checks.
- Review team updates through random audits and ensure timely circular issuance.
- RSP Discrepancy Analysis and Field Feedback
- Analyze field inputs and correct RSP discrepancies across retail outlets.
- Monitor PSU RSPs and structural price changes.
- SAP Configuration and Tax Structure Mapping
- Configure new pricing mechanisms and tax/duty changes in SAP.
- Supervise testing and validate accuracy post-deployment.
- Strategic Pricing Inputs for Planning
- Provide rolling plan inputs and collaborate with EPS and IST teams.
- Analyze futures, market variables, and policy shifts for scenario planning.
- Internal Transfer Pricing and Standard Costing
- Support internal material transfers between Marketing and Refinery.
- Compute and circulate standard costing reports to FP&A on a fortnightly basis.
- Pricing Presentations and Knowledge Sharing
- Prepare presentations for external conferences, inductions, and reviews.
- Conduct training sessions for new joiners and transferees.
- Audit and Discrepancy Resolution
- Address pricing discrepancies and audit observations in coordination with stakeholders.
- Ensure timely closure and documentation of audit responses.
- Industry Liaison and Field Operations Support
- Engage with industry working groups to track market trends.
- Resolve field-level pricing queries and maintain operational alignment.
- Team Leadership and Capability Building
- Review and guide the work of junior team members.
