A Senior Manager - Implementation Development is typically responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives related to product or service implementation within an organization. This role usually exists in industries like IT, healthcare, and consulting, where solutions and products need to be implemented across multiple platforms or customer environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management: o Lead and manage large-scale implementation projects. o Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with company goals. o Oversee the coordination of resources, tasks, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of implementation plans. 2. Strategic Planning and Development: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable implementation processes. o Contribute to the strategic roadmap for product or service development in alignment with market needs. o Develop and refine policies, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency and success rates of implementations. 3. Team Leadership: o Lead a team of implementation managers or project managers. o Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure teams meet goals. o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. 4. Client/Stakeholder Management: o Serve as the main point of contact for clients or stakeholders during the implementation phase. o Manage client expectations and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. o Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to report on progress and address any challenges. 5. Risk and Issue Management: o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. o Monitor the progress of implementations to quickly address any issues that arise. o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. 6. Performance Metrics and Reporting: o Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of implementations. o Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on implementation progress, challenges, and success metrics. o Analyze data to improve future implementations and decision-making processes. 7. Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams: o Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure that the product is designed for ease of implementation. o Provide feedback on product features and performance based on implementation experiences. Skills and Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred). • Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in implementation management, project management, or related roles; experience in leadership positions. • Project Management: Strong experience in leading complex projects with cross-functional teams. • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with product development and integration processes; technical background in software development is often a plus. • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and manage conflicts. • Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify problems and implement solutions. • Client-Focused: Experience working with clients to deliver custom solutions or services. Tools and Software: • Project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project. • CRM systems like Salesforce. • Data analysis tools for tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
