Senior Manager Finance

A seasoned finance professional with 5–8 years of experience in media billing, revenue accounting, and month-end close, including 2–3 years in leadership roles. Skilled in managing high-volume billing operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Expertise spans media workflows, GST and tax regulations, and end-to-end close processes—journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and revenue recognition. Proficient in financial systems (Bigsun, D365) and advanced Excel, with a strong track record in process optimization, automation, and audit compliance. Known for exceptional stakeholder management, analytical skills, and the ability to drive efficiency in deadline-driven environments. Preferably the candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Job Description:

• Media client billing, revenue accounting, and month-end close, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing billing/accounting teams with strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.

• Expertise in media billing systems and workflows: verification, reconciliation, invoicing, credit adjustments, and dispute resolution.

• Strong knowledge of GST and withholding tax.

• Hands-on experience with full month-end close processes: journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and trial balance matching.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable and aging report monitoring.

• Strong understanding of media operations: estimates, POs, release orders, and booking systems.

• Proficiency in financial/media platforms (Bigsun, D365) and advanced Excel.

• Skilled in revenue reconciliations for financial reporting.

• Ability to identify process gaps and implement automation to improve accuracy and shorten close cycles.

• Ensures compliance with internal controls, audits, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Competent in generating and analyzing billing/revenue reports.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for escalations and cross-functional alignment.

• Highly organized with attention to detail; adept at managing high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
