Main Purpose of Role:
The role is within Operations FP&A Team, supporting Operations finance.
The FP&A Team is responsible for activities including core FP&A, Decision Support, consolidated reporting, budgeting etc. As a team, our focus is mainly on:
Month End closing and reporting.
Forecast and Budget submission.
Working closely with GFP&A and FBP Team to ensure smooth submission of group requirements.
Adoption of different tools and support in implementation of various Group Tools and Dashboards. Investment Planning and reporting.
Profitability Insight tool adoption.
D&A Ops month end Consolidation and ad-hoc analysis.
Ad-hoc projects that run across various BUs and SBUs across Operations.
The successful candidate will need to be a critical and independent thinker, who can think on their feet and engage with a variety of partners within finance and across the business to connect the dots and bring out the story. They will have experience of working in a fast-paced, changing environment and demonstrate the ability to multitask on several projects/results at the same time.

Key Responsibilities of The Role
As a lead role in the team, the role will include but not limited to the following:
- Drive operating rhythm for Financial Planning & Analysis across operations, working with Group FP&A, Finance Controllership and Business Finance teams.
- Drives production of monthly / quarterly performance reports, for ExCo, Board and external investor review.
- Supports external reporting process, including the timely provision of detailed analyses to the Investor Relations team.
- Maintains a detailed knowledge and understanding of business drivers
- Investment reporting and Analysis
- Driving Profitability Insights for Operations
- Helping Head of D&A Ops Finance with consolidation of D&A Ops financials
- Running with projects which are across Operations across different BUs and SBUs to deliver efficient and accurate driver-based reporting on all costs and activities of the group.
- They will be involved in various projects driven by Group FP&A in introducing various tools and improvements in financial reporting.
- They are committed to building positive relationships and encouraging improvement where vital.
- Coordinates Operations budgeting and forecasting process, including input into system

- Proficiency in working efficiently and delivering results in a fast-paced, sophisticated, global business environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a view of the big picture and key objectives
- Confident, able and willing to challenge peers and seniors
- Analytical experience, with the skills for problem solving and decision making
- Highly numerate with sophisticated excel / financial modelling and excellent analytical skills
Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies:
- Strong 10+ years of experience in a Finance role
- Experience of FP&A in larger Corporate organisations
- Tenacious and driven by delivering results, inspiring change.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead multiple projects with contending demands for resources, ability to adapt to change
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, sophisticated, multifaceted, global business environment.
- Expert level with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Education/ Certifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Post graduate qualification – eg MBA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
