Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for water utility software solutions.
    • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with water utilities, municipalities, and government agencies.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
    • Understand customer pain points and propose tailored solutions to meet operational and regulatory needs.
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
    • Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements.
    • Provide feedback to product development teams based on market insights.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably in water utilities or public infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of water utility operations, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of water management software, SCADA systems, IoT solutions, or GIS platforms.
  • Experience working with government tenders and RFP processes.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles.
