As a Senior Staff DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for focusing on converting requirements into the architecture for SaaS based application on Private Cloud. You'll lead the selection of the infrastructure components, software's, communication protocols to build robust hosting platform which has high availability, scalable, cost effective, secured, easy to maintain, operate and provides tools for debugging/troubleshooting.
As a Senior Lead DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering and analyzing data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
- Designing and implementing DevOps strategies for application development and deployment.
- Ensuring secure, scalable, and automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Managing and integrating Databricks, RBAC, and Key cloak within the application ecosystem.
- Managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native tools.
- Ensure security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Leading solution design working with domain experts, product architect and customer rep.
- Leading the deployment of the solution at customer hosted infrastructure and Baker Hughes cloud.
- Responsible for getting the artifacts created and maintained for each project
- Designing back up and disaster recovery plans and process for the solution.
- Responsible for creating design and technical artifacts for each customer/project.
- Participating in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
- Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks.
- Supporting design and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses.
- Researching and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
- Responsible for maintaining technical documents for each project with all latest changes.
- Responsible for ensuring all the tools needed for operations are implemented as per practice
- Coaching and mentoring team members/peers.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- Have strong coding experience in Python, .NET, or another programming language.
- Have Cloud (AWS/Azure) Solution architecting exposure int native cloud offerings, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS as well as non-native services.
- Have In-depth knowledge on well architecture framework for cloud hosted solutions and applications.
- Have solid understanding with Rest-API based architecture.
- Have strong knowledge and understanding of package management using tools like NUGET, NPM
- Be able to mentor developers and guide them through DevOps best practices.
- Understand SQL and big data ecosystems, particularly Databricks.
- Have knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including Keycloak.
- Experience with security and code quality scanning tools like SonarQube, Blackduck and/or Checkmarx.
- Have thorough understanding on TCP/IP framework, Messaging protocols and should be able to isolate the challenges / problems.
- Have Strong understanding on DevSecOps principals and good to have hands-on experience with CI-CD pipelines, Enterprise-GitHub, helm-charts, GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
- Have hands-on experience with container runtime security tools and help development team to fix those.
- Experience with Managed Kubernetes platform, including integration and management of large and complex clusters.
- Good to have knowledge on enterprise SAP infrastructure and enabling application integration hosted on cloud.
- Have Logical and analytical thinker for resolving L2 and L3 issues. Proposing diverse solutions to enterprise level problems with respect to architecture.
- Have experience on micro-services architecture, containerized application deployments and working closely with development teams.
- Have Design, document, and build solutions for the above-referenced services that meet customer needs around robust, scalable, dependable architecture services conforming to Microsoft’s established best practices.
- Have Disaster Recovery plans and designing of multi-region high availability architectures.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to cloud networking and infrastructure.
- Experience with Cloud formation or Bicep for infrastructure automation.
