Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team in our Mumbai Office. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the HR functions to align with the company’s vision. This role would suit a motivated seasoned HR professional, looking to further develop their HR career.

Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance:

  • Maintaining Statutory Compliance like PF, ESI & Labor related records.

  • Timely submission of various statutory returns.

  • Maintaining records of employees of various statutory compliances.

  • Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assist employees with any claim issues.

  • Keeping a close eye on any labor law updates & updating the team accordingly with if any suggestions to include or exclude from current policy.

  • Preparing documents for Entity Audit.

HR Analytical:

  • Grievance/query handling of employees, managers & compliance entity if & when needed.

  • Monthly reports

  • Market benchmarking & Internal parity checks

  • Interviewing candidates

  • Manager Overview sessions

  • Updating knowledge with changes in various compliance laws of the team

  • Policy upgrading & correction.

Offer & On-boarding:

  • Co-ordinating & sending emails to new joiners for on-boarding documents, and compliance form filing.

  • Enrolling new joiner & family members with Marsh & Kwench Library

  • Data filing & documentation of New Recruits

  • Employee details tracking from offer till onboarding activity completion.

  • Send mail to respected teams with new joiner & exit status monthly.

  • Coordinating with the hiring team, IT & Admin team for new joiner arrangements & settling on the first day.

Exit & Retirement

  • Preparing Exit documents & sharing them with the said employee.

  • Conducting Exit Interviews & Issuing Relieving Letter

  • Deletion of membership with Marsh & Kwench Library

  • Managing Full & Final Settlement of Exit employees.

  • Completing all documentation related to exit like gratuity documents, etc.

HR Administration

  • Active member of office event management

  • Processing of New Hire, Exit & Transfer Tickets.

  • Coordinating with Insurance vendors for claims & settlements

  • Periodical review of Insurance data for addition & deletion

  • Supervising & executing Payroll activity

In Gist the JD should be:

On-boarding to Exit Management

Compliance Management – well versed with labor laws.

Grievance Handling & conflict management

Payroll Management

Personnel Data & Document Management

Any other HR administration & operational task

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area

  • With HR related working experience from 10 - 20 years (preferably as an HR generalist in manufacturing and IT industries).

  • Knowledgeable in On-boarding & Exit Management, Compliance Management – well versed with labor laws, Payroll Management

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good people management skills

  • Good judgment & analytical skills

  • With Notice period 60 days maximum

This role will be assigned on traditional working hours and hybrid work setting (3 days minimum in the office).
