JioCinema is seeking seasoned Senior Graphic Designers to join our team in Mumbai.


Reporting to JioCinema’s Creative Director, you'll conceive, develop, and execute promo and marketing asset designs across multiple platforms, including our products (apps, TV, websites, tooling, CMS), our product marketing (notifications, App Store marketing, emails, brand campaigns) and our publishing output (show posters, banners, teasers). As an all-rounder, it’s likely you’ll also dip your toe into other form-factors like print, motion, video, identity and more to develop eye-catching creatives that capture the essence of our content and engage users.


You will be responsible for elevating our visual communications and storytelling, working into a compelling graphic design language that is seamlessly integrated through our products and interfaces, making them more intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage graphic designs from conception to delivery, including ideation, brainstorming, mockups, versioning, notes, and final delivery.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout all projects, focused on maintaining and elevating 
  • JioCinema’s appearance and aesthetic within the Jio brand language. Maintain regular communication with the Jio Brand team, sharing insights and feedback to enhance the global design language. Innovate within the confines of brand guidelines to keep JioCinema's visual language fresh and ahead of industry trends.
  • Work quickly and efficiently to tackle high volume output, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. You obsess over pixel perfection.
  • Partner with fellow Graphic Designers, and your peers in Product Design, to drive design production work forward across the ecosystem. Act as a peer leader by providing guidance to other Designers when needed.
  • Provide regular status updates of your projects to keep teams aware of progress. Including weekly team meetings and tracking software.
  • Lead and participate in brainstorms to contribute ideas and concepts. Additionally, provide ideas where design can make ideas bigger and stronger.
  • Be intentional with your designs, not only focused on high level creative, but best practices, effectiveness, and creative problem solving.
  • Focus on optimising engagement from a customer perspective. Can your designs effectively grab attention, communicate an idea, and engage the JioCinema audience? 
  • Comfortably solicit and receive creative feedback from multiple sources and address it.
  • Create graphic templates for easy use and versioning by other team members and agencies.
  • Create final presentations for large projects.
  • Add to the JioCinema Design System by developing an extensive inventory of photography, type, icons, and vectors.
  • Manage and prepare graphic assets for delivery and maintain an organized library of project files.

We are looking for you if :

  • 5+ years professional experience in graphic or visual design, with substantial expertise in designing graphics for digital products and interfaces.
  • A portfolio showcasing a broad range of hands-on graphic production for top brands across 
  • Product and Marketing (motion and animated graphics also a huge bonus).
  • Experience creating digital and/or key art and thumbnail designs
  • Experience working cross-platform (TV/Mobile/Web/Print/OOH) and collaborating closely with Design Systems teams. Deep knowledge and evidence of altitude-shifting from the nuances of a 300x50 in-app banner, to a 40ft out-of-home billboard.
  • Must possess skills in photo retouching, photo manipulation, and compositing.
  • Energized by hands-on work, sketching, concepts, prototypes, mood boarding, running discovery activities and polishing final designs.
  • A clear comprehension of ‘what good looks like’ across the internet economy. A demonstrable dedication to quality, performance and pixel perfection. A great storyteller, able to convincingly articulate quality, and take stakeholders on a journey.
  • Proficiency building beautiful and concise decks in Keynote, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.
