The Senior FP&A Analyst will perform financial analysis, develop forecasts, create financial models, manage data discrepancies, and support pricing strategies.
The Role
FinStrat Management (“FSM”) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a full-time remote role.
Responsibilities- Execute research and financial analysis
- Develop analysis on budgets, forecasts and sales margins
- Conduct small-scale projects, and ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Generate forecasts and analyzes trends for financial and strategic planning purposes
- Create financial models of “what if” scenarios to help future business planning decisions
- Provide support for pricing and sales
- Provide interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in data
- Assist in development and delivery of various reporting packages
- Prepare financial deliverables, correspondence and filings
- Ensure assignments meet the firms’ quality standards
- Review, analyze and consolidate data from multiple sources
- Work closely with CFO and Controller teams
- Communicate engagement matters to managers and partners
- Provide five-star client service
- 3+ years of experience
- Professional experience building financial models using Excel from scratch
- Experience with a SaaS company
- Experience working with multiple clients
- Ability to assemble, communicate, and present information clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must exhibit strong analytical/critical thinking skills
- Solve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approach
- Be attentive to detail, maintain standards, and actively check for data accuracy before conveying final work product
- Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
- Commitment and ability to meet critical business deadlines
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance and at least two years of relevant experience
- CFA and/or CPA preferred but not required (the company will reimburse exam costs following successful completion)
