The Role

FinStrat Management (“FSM”) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Senior FP&A Analyst. This is a full-time remote role.

Responsibilities
  • Execute research and financial analysis
  • Develop analysis on budgets, forecasts and sales margins
  • Conduct small-scale projects, and ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Generate forecasts and analyzes trends for financial and strategic planning purposes
  • Create financial models of “what if” scenarios to help future business planning decisions
  • Provide support for pricing and sales
  • Provide interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in data
  • Assist in development and delivery of various reporting packages
  • Prepare financial deliverables, correspondence and filings
  • Ensure assignments meet the firms’ quality standards
  • Review, analyze and consolidate data from multiple sources
  • Work closely with CFO and Controller teams
  • Communicate engagement matters to managers and partners
  • Provide five-star client service
Job RequirementsProfessional Knowledge
  • Ability to assemble, communicate and present information clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must exhibit strong analytical / critical thinking skills
  • Solve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approach
  • Be attentive to detail, maintain standards and actively check for data accuracy before conveying final work product

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance and at least two years of relevant experience
  • CFA and/or CPA preferred but not required (the company will reimburse exam costs following successful completion)
