Position Overview
As part of Third Bridge’s broader Finance Team, this role is responsible for supporting planning, analysis, and reporting processes, with a specialized focus on the administration of incentive compensation plans across roles and functions globally. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced data management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position requires mastery of Excel, Google Workspace tools, and Google BigQuery to develop robust incentive models, automate processes and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Incentive Plan Management & Administration:
Global owner of the incentive payment process & lifecycle for non-Commercial roles
Lead execution of incentive payment calculation & administration, across all business units
Analyze the effectiveness of incentive plans and recommend modifications to align with company objectives
Partner with internal stakeholders, including BU leads, Finance, and Tech/BI to ensure seamless execution of incentive programs, projected costing of plans, and detailed performance tracking
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize advanced Excel functions to build sophisticated models, dashboards, and reports.
Leverage Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) for collaboration, reporting, and presentation of financial, operational and organizational performance information.
Employ Google BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to support financial analysis, headcount modeling, and incentive plan calculations.
Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Operational Performance Reporting & Analysis:
Provide insightful analysis of operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business trends to management.
Act as an SME across various business units to understand their reporting needs and provide ad hoc analytical support
Process Improvement:
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
Drive improvements in data integrity and consistency across planning models and systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of progressive experience, as a business, data or financial analyst.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and scenario analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite) tools, particularly Google Sheets, and experience using Google Slides and Docs for reporting and presentations.
Demonstrable experience with Google BigQuery, specifically data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and modeling skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex financial and operational information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
