Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently drive QA activities for the assigned scrum team.
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify, analyze, and resolve root causes of defects.
- Design, enhance, and improve the productivity and reliability of automation test scripts.
- Drive QA process improvements within the scrum team.
- Provide support during production incidents, including issue reproduction, analysis, and debugging.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
- Contribute to POCs and research initiatives as guided by Managers or Leads.
- Organize and facilitate requirement gathering and review workshops for medium to complex requirements.
Education & Experience
Minimum Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the technology / QA stream
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree with exposure to enterprise-scale applications and Agile delivery models

Core Technical Skills
- Minimum 6 years of relevant technology experience in Quality Engineering.
- Strong understanding of manual testing, test design techniques, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools. E.g. Playwright, Selenium etc.
- Deep expertise in own discipline with working knowledge of related domains.
- Independently solves complex QA problems with minimal guidance.
- Works effectively across distributed teams and multiple time zones.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to analyse business needs and validate solutions.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, or development skills as required.
- Ability to review code and provide meaningful feedback/comments.
