We are looking for a senior leader that can help us drive this shift to an omnichannel way of working. The Digital Fuel team is developing new capabilities that will prepare the enterprise, and specifically marketeers to lead in the future healthcare environment that continues to be disrupted and transformed.The Head of Global Content and Marketing Operations will help us shape, run and operate our internal data driven content, omnichannel agency within GSK to serve all our brands across all our markets this includes:

  • Setting the vision for our internal digital agency – by embedding industry best practices, leveraging our complete technology stack and harnessing the power of people and AI to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • Leading the operation of our data driven customer experience content centre which includes our 2 outsourced global centres for Mature Markets and Emerging Markets whilst driving continuous improvement of delivery in our mature and emerging markets across Speciality, Vaccines, Oncology, GenMeds and VIIV brands within the GSK enterprise
  • Data Storytelling - Leverage significant volume of operational data and convert this into insight, opportunities for improvement across the content and omnichannel value stream.
  • Influence and drive change - across a wide range of senior stake holders across our various Global Product Strategy teams
  • Oversee partnerships with 3rd parties - such as Accenture , WPP, Lionsbridge a significant oSshore third-party team (600+ team size) based in Mumbai (Accenture) & Delhi (WPP) and other on-shore operations across China (Shanghai), Spain (Malaga), Brazil (Sao Paolo), Turkey (Istanbul) ensure we get the best thinking from our partners and high quality implementation & delivery of all content & campaign execution for GSK owned channels (Email, Portal, Webinar, E-Detail and Print)
  • Lead the risk management & overall governance that inherently derives from managing a Global Content Marketing Operations, which is supporting through third parties, in particular executing on robust Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensuring third party partners continue to deliver high quality output and maintain high productive levels that adhere to GSK guidance and policies
  • Advocate, champion and drive consistency in execution approach within operational models, as well as continuous engagement with GPS (Global Product Strategy) Heads & LOC (Local Operating Countries) Ops Head to ensure consistent use of Content and Marketing Operation in driving performance eSiciencies and economies of scale and avoiding any leakage to local agencies.

This role will play an active role in enabling the customer experience strategy across innovative & lifecycle brands across Regions – Europe (EU), Greater China (GCI), Intercontinental & Emerging Markets (EM) - Latin America, Middle East Africa, South East and South Asia regions by ensuring seamless execution of user journeys at scale through the Content and Marketing Operations.This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Play an integral role shaping and delivering GSK’s omnichannel strategy that Transends our portfolio and geographies
  • Innovate, Implement, optimise high quality customer experience across our core touch points
  • Lead a highly talented team, high performing of experts across technology, content and digital channels.
  • Ability to define and embed GENAI’s role in omnichannel marketing and embed and scale this into our ways of working.
  • To lead expansion of Content Marketing Operations service, to medical content, patient materials.
  • Engage with senior Pharma leadership stakeholders to influence chance at a strategic and operational level

Why You? Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with digital marketing or digital strategy leadership role and deep knowledge of data & technology driven marketing practices . Total 18+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of expertise managing and orchestrating third party resource and relationships to deliver on behalf of GSK enterprise
  • Excellent communication skills including coordination skills, facilitation, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Senior stakeholder management, Influencing skills, negotiation skills
  • Pharma or healthcare industry experience
  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation capabilities along with a process[1]focused perspective
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex /global environment and to solve complex business and process problems
  • Demonstrated experience of sustaining and developing critical relationships
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across the Commercial and Medical business

Preferred Qualification:

  • Expertise in building and enabling AI solutions that can scale globally
  • MBA with relevant specialization (eg. Digital marketing /Agile Marketing)
  • Experience of working within regions with highly-virtual, global, and diverse team
  • Ability to develop management reporting to monitor performance of GPS & LOCs and course correct
  • Programme management and change management knowledge at strategic level
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, influence and collaboration in a matrixed organization
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and/or to be based within region on long term basis
  • Knowledge of innovations in the digital space including tools, vendors, and trends
  • Previous experience in a cross-geography leadership position would be desirable
