Lead and manage a team of media planners, ensure quality control of deliverables, align planning with client KPIs and agency trading objectives, support the Account Director, and escalate/resolution manage upward as needed.
The purpose of this role is to manage a team of media planners and assist the Account Director on a day to day basis. This is to ensure that their teams are delivering plans that deliver against client objectives whilst balancing agency trading objectives.

Key responsibilities:
Manages team members in order to deliver their individual personal growth targets
Overseas output from the team, providing quality control on any documents produced by the team
Understands the trading implications of planning decisions made to ensure agency and client objectives are delivered
Understands and ensures that each team member fully understand and can deliver against client key performance indicators/targets
Supports the Account Director to ensure client and the business' priorities are filtered through to the team
Manages upwards to ensure any challenges are resolved quickly and timely
