Job Description:

Job Summary

The Design Specialist is a highly creative and strategic member of the Brand and Creative Team, responsible for developing and executing visually compelling concepts across digital and print platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of brand storytelling, user-centric design, and modern design trends, along with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).

Reporting to the Design Lead, operating in a matrix environment with the Sr. Brand Manager, the Design Specialist will collaborate closely with in-house creative teams, regional stake holders and external partners to produce engaging marketing materials, and assets that elevate brand presence and drive audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand identity and messaging.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate marketing strategies into impactful visual communication.

  • Design and refine digital and print assets; including infographics, visuals, and other visual assets.

  • Create compelling materials to effectively convey brand and products narratives.

  • Develop infographics, icons, and other visual elements to simplify complex information and enhance storytelling.

  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.

  • Stay informed on design trends, marketing innovations, and audience engagement strategies to enhance creative output.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6+ years experience in design with a focus on brand and digital projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in marketing design, branding, or a similar role.

  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate marketing goals into compelling visual stories.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other industry-standard design tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with strategic objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • A portfolio showcasing creative concepts and marketing design work is highly desirable.

Mandatory Requirement

  • Prior experience in BFSI / Asset Management / Financial Services is essential
    (Experience working on financial reports, fund marketing materials, or investment communication will be highly preferred)

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience designing for digital platforms is a plus.

  • Experience with data visualization best practices and tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software.
