Job DescriptionSenior Data Quality Support I plays a pivotal role in the development of artificial intelligence systems. This professional is responsible for sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data that feed into AI models. The accuracy and quality of this data directly influence the performance and reliability of AI applications, making the curator's role essential for any data-driven organization.
Senior Data Quality Support I collaborates closely with AI engineers and data scientists to understand the specific data requirements necessary for training robust AI models. Their meticulous attention to detail ensures that the datasets are free from inconsistencies and errors, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of AI solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for identifying, creating, and maintaining a high-quality, trusted "golden set" of data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for critical business decisions or AI model training
- Responsible for sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data that feed into AI models
- Proactively identify and source data sets that are critical for the organization and will form the "golden set".
- Cleanse, validate, and enrich data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency with organizational standards
- Add detailed metadata, annotations, and contextual information to data to improve its discoverability and usability
- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the golden set effectively meets analytical and decision-making needs.

Gracenote, a Nielsen company, provides music, video, and sports content along with technologies to the world's hottest entertainment products and brands, which is also a global standard for music and video recognition which is supported by the largest source of entertainment data. Gracenote features descriptions of more than 200 million tracks, TV listings for 85+ countries, and statistics from 4,500 sports leagues and competitions.
Qualifications- Graduate in any stream.
- Proven capability in identifying, creating, and maintaining a high-quality, trusted "golden set" of data.
- Expertise in the full lifecycle of AI training data, including sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data to feed into AI models.
- Demonstrated ability to cleanse, validate, and enrich data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with organizational standards.
- Exceptional accuracy in handling and processing data.
- Familiarity with data labeling tools and techniques
- Ability to examine data for quality, identify gaps, and develop strategies to improve data accuracy and value.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams and communicate data-related concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ready to work in a flexible work environment that requires working with global teams.
- The role is hybrid, so you must live near Nielsen’s office. Hybrid Workers are those employees who are working partially from home which is in the same city as the Nielsen office they are employed with and partially from a Nielsen office / site
