Leads SAP S/4HANA SD functional design and configuration for brownfield and greenfield implementations. Translates business requirements into solution blueprints, integrates SD with MM and FI, manages data migration, testing, defect resolution, go-live support, documentation, training, and continuous improvement. The consultant also mentors junior consultants and supports pre-sales activities through solution demonstrations and proposals.
The Senior Consultant – SAP S/4HANA SD will join Bristlecone India's S4 HANA Functional – Delivery team to drive high‑impact SD implementations. You will work closely with clients, architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration, data migration, and post‑go‑live support across diverse industry verticals.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) modules for brownfield and greenfield projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure end‑to‑end integration with MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
- Perform data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
- Develop and execute test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT) and support defect resolution.
- Provide on‑site and remote support during go‑live and hypercare phases.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Participate in pre‑sales activities, such as solution demos and proposal development.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA roadmap and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD functional consulting.
- Proven delivery experience in both brownfield (system conversion) and greenfield (new implementation) projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and logistics.
- Experience with integration points to MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a client‑focused mindset.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global delivery team.
- Relevant SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
