The Opportunity
We are seeking a Conference Producer to contribute to the successful execution and scaling of our events! As Conference Producer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with cybersecurity subject matter experts to participate as key note speakers, appearing on ISMG’s sites and stages.
In this role, you will lead efforts on efficient speaker recruitment and onboarding, keynote and case study recommendations, and keeping operational effectiveness to ensure maximum value is provided to our attendees. You will actively secure and prepare speakers for our conferences, helping facilitate the best possible experience in working with ISMG to foster a long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and source qualified speakers within specified regions (primarily CISOs and/or CIOs).
- Conduct introductory calls to present speaking opportunities and develop strategic relationships.
- Work closely with the content team and other involved departments for speaker details (speaker photos, biographies, session topics, descriptions, and company logos).
- Support logistic arrangement (pre-session, onsite/virtual, and post-session).
- Obtain speaker details, session topics, and presentation slides through email, phone, and video communication.
- Send out important notes and reminders to speakers about their upcoming sessions and ensure appropriate preparation.
- Cross check and proofread all literature related to conference programs and collaborate with copy editing staff as needed.
- Provide a client friendly support service for speakers to ensure their experience is as hassle free as possible for them before, during, and post session, whilst ensuring the event team has all relevant information required from the speaker.
- Schedule and conduct preparation meetings to maintain relationships, exchange relevant information, and set up recordings and panel schedules.
- Intake and organize topics for Speaker Committee.
- Analyze and track competition to drive and maintain innovation.
- Develop and maintain personal and program branding on LinkedIn.
- Arrange transportation and hotel logistics for all speakers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with recruitment skills and knowledge of event management.
- Experience in or knowledge of Cyber Security and Information Technology fields is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and listening ability.
- Strong research and advisory skills, able to coach speakers on keynote outlines and make recommendations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to edit and improve presentation slides.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, able to prioritize work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Resilient, adaptable, flexible, and willing to support the Director on a variety of assigned tasks.
- Self-motivated, highly detailed, and solution-oriented, able to successfully operate both independently and as part of a team.
- Client-oriented, good team spirit, and able to work under pressure.
Additional Details:
- Location: on-site at our Mumbai, IN office.
- In-office presence required Monday - Friday during our standard hours of operation.
