The Senior Cloud Technology Consultant is responsible for evaluating business strategy, processes and technology needs, and translating requirements into external clients' strategy. Provides consulting services for business cases and functional issues articulating Nokia solutions with an inclusive customer engagement plan and effective interaction with customer decision makers to justify their strategy and investments.
Responsibilities- Interpret critical internal or external business issues and develops innovative solutions that help to sustain competitive advantage. Translate complex business challenges into technical solutions, enhancing client performance and value delivery.
- Serve as the E2E Design authority for 5G SA core network implementation, ensuring governance and quality standards. Design and implement end-to-end Mobile Networks solutions, focusing on innovative 5G core network architecture.
- Establish and manage cross-functional transformation plans for our customers driven by Cloud technology, automation, and operations investments. Collaborate with multiple partners to ensure seamless integration of application, core network functions, and container services.
- Identify the gaps in Cloud automation and define automation framework including Ci/CD, App Onboarding, Orchestration, Cloud Management Platform, Test Automation, Configuration Management, etc.
- Define Cloud architecture blueprints and PNF to VNF and VNF to CNF migration strategy for our customers. Implementation of Cloud & Technology transformation plan and change management.
- Conceptualize, develop and optimize Cloud & Technology Consulting offerings. Contribute further by identifying sales opportunities for Nokia to create further customer value
Must-have :
15+ years in Telecom (IMS/PaCo) or ~8+ years in management consulting, with strong expertise in end-to-end mobile network technologies including 5G SA core architecture
Prior experience with Nokia IMS solutions (CNCS, NTAS, MRF, CFX, BGW, NEF, SBC) and solid understanding of cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, public cloud platforms) will be a plus.
Ability to engage effectively across technical and management layers, including CxO and Director-level stakeholders
Good-to-have :
Engineering or Computer Science background from a reputed institution; MBA or public cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Strong delivery mindset with willingness to travel, work at customer premises, and operate in high-pressure or ambiguous environments
Self-driven, structured approach with strong collaboration, facilitation, and mentoring capabilities
