Team: The ESG Research data team is responsible for delivering Sustainalytics' suite of strategically important ESG research and data products which includes ESG risk ratings, climate and impact solutions, and sustainable finance solutions. Alongside producing high-quality data for research content, the team is also responsible for continuously collaborating in new research products, providing meaningful insights that help our clients in their investment decisions.
Role: A Continuous Improvement Analyst finds solutions that enable the data research teams to operate efficiently while maintaining or improving research output quality, perform the assessment of existing processes and identifies the improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and quality of data research teams. Analyst responsible for

  • Support in health analysis of exiting business processes and to create improvement proposals for current or new business/research processes using Lean methodology.
  • Define the problem through consultations, review and analyze information, develop and present the recommendations to the stakeholders using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
  • Identify quality, technical, or process improvements for data research teams with cross functional teams within data operations.


Skillsets & Responsibilities:

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodology with LSS certification (Green Belt)
  • Experience of implementation of LSS projects (2-3 projects of Green belt level or should be part of Black belt level project).
  • Single point contact from operation excellence and continuous improvement team for assigned projects.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder analysis and communication.
  • Identify areas for improvement across the data research team and take steps to improve it through consultation.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on process performance metrics.
  • Manage the performance review process for the team alongside talent development and talent management.
  • Manage the Project(s) related to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows within a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • 3-6 Yrs. of relevant experience.


Nice to have

  • Technical expertise related to excel macros, power query and SQL.
  • Management consulting background
